St. Leonard de Noblat, is just half an hour away, steeped in history, a medieval town with narrow streets, art galleries and restaurants. The Monts d’Ambazac range of hills, which reach up to 2,500ft at their highest point, are covered in pine, oak and beech forest, and are teaming with wildlife. It is a uniquely unspoiled area of rushing streams, lakes and deep valleys. It is a popular area for ramblers who are attracted by the many kilometres of way-marked pathways. However, it never gets crowded, even in summer |
