The grounds are home to an array of birds and wildlife. There are regular sightings of owls, woodpeckers, kingfishers, buzzards, deer, and hundreds of species of butterfly. The lake itself is home to a host of fish. There is a big head of silver fish including roach and rudd to over 1lb, mirrors, common, grass and wild carp to over twenty pound, zander and pike to twenty pound and tench to twelve pound. It is a fantastic general coarse fishing lake that will suit everyone.

There are some great tracks around the lake and up into the woods. Walking these you can feast your eyes on the stunning plants and wildlife that are resident here in the Limousin. .

All in all, it is the perfect getaway for those who enjoy the great outdoors.
